Payment information	Transaction records for unlocks or subscriptions, processed via our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers

2. How we use your information

To operate the AI matching engine and show you relevant opportunities or candidates
To verify identity, experience, skills, or company status where applicable
To send account-related emails, including one-time login codes and match notifications
To process payments for profile unlocks and subscriptions
To investigate misuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms & Conditions

3. When your information is shared

Your full contact details are not visible to Companies until they unlock your profile. Before an unlock, Companies see your profile information (skills, experience, availability, rates) without your name, email, or phone number being disclosed. We also share information with the service providers who help us operate Valoent, including:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
Zoho Mail — sending account-related emails, including login codes
Razorpay — processing payments for unlocks and subscriptions

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and profile information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

5. Your choices

You can update most profile information directly from your dashboard.
You can request deletion of your account by contacting us at the email below.
Professionals can set their availability to "not open to work" to pause new AI matches without deleting their profile.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls on our database, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Valoent is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.
